During today’s check-up, I participated in a study of the Management of Bacterial Air Contamination in CF Clinics. They hooked me up to a cough counter, which was basically a little microphone that records the number of times I cough, and also accidentally picks up snippets of conversation. Then a doctor listens to the recording and compiles the results. When I was alone in the exam room I would say things like “don’t turn around” and “hello, doctor. Would you like to know about the Matrix?” in hopes that I could liven up his research a little.
